No matter what size project you're embarking on, you can bet it's a journey I know well. And every project begins with the brief. Experience has proven that no two clients expectations are the same... but, there is one universal common principle:
Most clients know what they don't like when/if they see it. So I listen intently up front to what it is that you need. Simple solution, but one that is often overlooked by the less seasoned: "Take note people, the art is in the brief!"
OK, so I think I get what you want to do. Now I impress you with my take on how I'll help you to achieve it. That might be in the form of a mockup, design samples, a fully blown concept presentation or a simple quote... horses for courses.
In most cases I'm comfortable enough to do that ahead of any obligation from your end. I want you to be convinced that I've listened, understood and can demonstrate how you're going to be envied by your competitors and peers!
Well then we'd all love to say 'hey presto' and its done. Some times that's exactly what happens and we're all raising a glass wondering how we pulled it off. But in reality it's more likely to be a lot of really hard work and long hours - no shirking here, I put my heart and soul into any project - especially if you have a deadline.
